Who we are
So, how did we get here?
It all started with four friends who wanted to create together.
Women-founded. International. Community-oriented. Lighthouse Ladies started with four young women, Sònia Victoria Werner, Heather Lynn Wong, Melina Rabin, and Cindy Xu, who created a film (Sandwomen) during a time when it felt like the world was shutting down. That one film turned into a company that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to make films, pilots, series, theatre, and community programming happen, bringing the most diverse artists together.
Lighthouse Ladies strives to create innovative genre-bending works in film and theatre, while nurturing a collaborative community with fellow artists. Based in NYC, Lighthouse Ladies have successfully produced more than a dozen projects in under 2 years, and continue to expand their reach across the globe.
